Shipping & returns

Free In-Store Pick up

We will email you when we have confirmed your purchase.  We will also email you when your order is ready for pick up. Confirmation email does not mean the order is ready.

Pick up is available during store hours 6 days a week (5 days in the winter)

Please try to pick up your order within 7 days or call the store 403-932-1138 to make alternate arrangements.  Orders not picked up within 15 days will be returned to our inventory and your payment will be converted to in-store credit.

Shipping Within Canada

All orders are shipped either Canada Post, Canpar or Purolator. Applicable provincial and federal taxes are applied when your order is processed according to where the item will be shipped. All orders being shipped are sent from Big Hill Cycle Cochrane, AB and take one to two business days to process, in addition to the delivery times. Isolated and rural areas may take longer.

We are not responsible for damaged goods as a result of shipping and handling. Customers may file a claim with the designated shippers.

Returning Shipped Items - Customer is responsible for return shipping fees.


$30 – Calgary, Cochrane and surrounding area.

$50 – Outside of Alberta

$350 – Bikes within Canada


Shipping restrictions may apply to certain products and destinations. These restrictions include regional distribution agreements, hazardous or over-sized products, and complexity in exporting some items. 


If an item you want to purchase is temporarily out of stock, you may still be able to backorder it. This allows you to reserve the next available stock. Call Store to arrange back orders. 403-932-1138

Returns and Refunds

We offer a 30 day return policy. If you're not happy with your purchase, you can return it for a refund. To be eligible for a full refund, your item must be returned unused and in the same condition that you received it in, along with the original packaging and the receipt. Once we receive the product back and have inspected it we will provide a refund. Items eligible for return are subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee at discretion of management.

Special Orders refunds at discretion of management.

Big Hill Cycle reserves the right to refuse any refunds do to packaging, damages, or hygiene.

SALE/CLEARANCE - Bikes, Clothing, Parts, and Accessories are FINAL SALE.

Order Fulfillment

We will contact you if any purchase item from your order is found to be unavailable due to an inventory discrepancy. When you submit an order through our Online store, your credit card is pre-authorized for the total order cost (including applicable taxes and shipping). Prior to shipping your order, Big Hill Cycle will only charge the amount that reflects the total cost of the shipped product(s) and applicable taxes and shipping costs. Out of stock order items that are cancelled will not be included in the final charge to your card.

We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices and inventory in our online catalog and we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. Big Hill Cycle periodically has sales in-store and online. There are dealer agreements for some brands that do not allow for discounts, please refer to the disclaimers specific to each sale.


If you have an issue with your product please don’t hesitate to email us at [email protected]. If you believe it's a manufacturer’s defect and would like to inquire about a warranty, send us an email and we can assist in the process. A detailed and sharp photo(s) of the defective product is be required along with the original receipt. Warranty is only offered to the original owner(s) of the product.

If the product you would like to warranty is from a brand we sell but was purchased elsewhere we can still help as long as you have the original receipt. This process may take some time for company reps to review; please allow extra time to process.
